Blender copy location не работает

Copy Location Constraint¶

The Copy Location constraint forces its owner to have the same location as its target.

Note that if you use such a constraint on a connected bone, it will have no effect, as it is the parent’s tip which controls the position of your owner bone’s root.

Options¶

Copy Location panel. В¶

Data ID used to select the constraints target, and is not functional (red state) when it has none. See common constraint properties for more information.

These buttons control which axes are constrained.

Invert their respective corresponding axis coordinates.

When enabled, this control allows the owner to be moved (using its current transform properties), relative to its target’s position.

Standard conversion between spaces. See common constraint properties for more information.

Controls the percentage of affect the constraint has on the object. See common constraint properties for more information.

Examples¶

Animation¶

Let us animate the Copy Location constraint and its Offset button. For example, you can make your owner (let us call it “moon”) describe perfect circles centered on the (0.0, 0.0, 0.0) point (using e.g. pydriven LocX/LocY animation curves, see Drivers ), and then make it copy the location of a target (call it “earth”, for example) with the Offset button enabled. Congratulation, you just modeled a satellite in a (simplified) orbit around its planet. Just do the same thing with its planet around its star (which you might call “sun”, what do you think?), and why not, for the star around its galaxy.

Here is a small animation of a “solar” system created using (among a few others) the technique described above:

Note that, this “solar” system is not realistic at all (the wrong scale, the “earth” is rotating in the wrong direction around the “sun”, …).

You can download the blend-file used to create this animation.

Furthermore you can also animate a few properties of each constraint using animation curves: e.g. you can animate the Influence of a constraint. It is used to first stick the camera to the “moon”, then to the “earth”, and finally to nothing, using two Copy Location constraints with Offset set.

Copy Attributes Menu

(File > User Preferences > Addons):

Vertex Color.

  • Copy Material:
  • Copy Image:
  • Copy Vertex Colors:

Vertex Color.

  • Copy Image from layer:
  • Copy UV Coords from layer:
  • Copy Vertex Colors from layer:

Hi!
After importing, the model loads correctly but this message shows in the log:

Traceback (most recent call last):
File «C:\Users\Oscar\AppData\Roaming\Blender Foundation\Blender\2.81\scripts\addons\X4ConverterBlenderAddon\importer.py», line 65, in execute

location: unknown location:-1

Exporting is not working for my with this message in log:

I’ll look at it later this week; I’m unfortunately moving at the moment.

Cgettys commented Dec 18, 2019

@OscarOG does this https://github.com/Cgettys/X4Converter/blob/rewrite-xml/X4ConverterBlenderAddonBeta3.zip fix the issue for you? it’s a bit ugly but I think it will fix your issue, it’s a filepath separator issue (I develop on Linux, which uses «blah/blahblah/whatever», whereas Windows would be «C:\blah\blahblah\whatever»)

OscarOG commented Dec 18, 2019

Hi @Cgettys !
Thank you for your answer but sorry to tell you that it still doesn’t work.

As before, importing model loads the model but now, i noticed that the scale when importing is not optimal for working directly as before, it´s very small.

Exporting still not working, i think same log as before.

Copy transforms from one object to another

I want an object to have the same Transforms (location, rotation, and scale) as another object. How can I copy the Transforms from one object to another?

5 Answers 5

Select the object you wish to move

While the First object is selected, SHIFT Select the other object

Go to the transforms panel

Right click in the Location properties

Copy to selected

Note: You only need to do this for one of the axis, blender will automatically do the other axis as well

Repeat step 4 for Rotation and Scale

For this kind of task the Copy Attributes Menu Addon is very good. It comes with Blender.

After enabling it, simply:

  • Select your object
  • With Shift pressed, select the target object
  • Press Ctrl + C
  • Select Copy Location from the list

If needed, do the same for rotation and scale as well.

The Location, Rotation and Scale used for each object is available in the object properties. You can easily copy and paste each setting to get two objects lined-up. Ctrl C and Ctrl V work with the cursor over a value, you don’t need to edit and select each value to copy and paste them.

The same values are also available in the Properties Sidebar in the 3DView which you can view by pressing N

Note: this will align each object based on the location of the objects Origin Point. This point may not be located where you expect and can be adjusted. See the manual on object centre
