Please note that those addons won’t work without this «Codename: Oldsfullsize» mod that contains critical basic files.
That why there are an Addon.

Also the mod is a bit intensive and may be laggy on some pc configs, especially the ones with AMD processor.

Welcome to the «Codename : Oldsfullsize» mod.
This Mod gives you the unique opportunity to drive the 1979 disguised prototype of a soon to be released famous car of the 80′.
Try to escape from Motor Friend magazine photographs, test the car without damage it being chased by cops, make a review report to the factory :
all those thrilling adventures are offered to you with a bit of imagination. And more seriously, a scenario based on this is very very welcome.

Visit the forum to play as an addon to the real car that was released in 1980. Lots of content !

The mod features:

— Only one underpowered engine (while in the addon, they are plenty. )

— a single body style (while in the addon, they are at least two !)

— BeamNG default sound (While in the addon. )

— BeamNG wheels (WITAddon . )
— color changeable but black fits it the best.

The mod contains lots of BeamNG.drive parts :

— Moonhawk jbeam and the Moonhawk Sedan Mod by Ar162b it’s based on. A lot reworked and adapted to the lastest BeamNG.drive features : thermals, brakes, suspensions, etc.
— Modified Moonhawk frame and textures, drivetrain.

— SergentFido (Me) : 3D models, textures, initial jbeam tweaking of the jbeam to fit the car shapes, then final shape tweaking to get a front end deforming better.

— Ar162B : Moonhawk Sedan Mod as the base of the project.
then he joined the project to add a lot of features and make the body to get a better deformation, more accurate to the shape.

— Synsol: He finetuned the engine, suspensions, brakes.

— Djplopper : beautifull presets pics

— Aboaroath, Peterbilt, Doullpepper, Bernd, Goosah, Djplopper, Darren9, CryDev, Tylertj, Ouerbacker, Яeverse Bass, and of course Synsol : Awesome beta testers

There’s not much to say cause everyone already knows how great this mod is, just don’t forget to download the addon!

Awesome mod, fun and pleasurable to drive!

Great Mod but I found a issue, all paint designs won’t apply! Is this a bug with the new update or is it just me.

Lets hope people aren’t blind and READ MY REVIEW. THE MOD DOESN’T HAVE SOUNDS BECAUSE THE DEVS REMOVED IT FROM THE GAME BECAUSE THE SOUNDS WERE ANCIENT.

Absolutely amazing mod of one of my favorite GM platforms, although the engine sounds are broken on the race and junkyard versions and the Oldsmobile taillights are just plain chrome. Any fix for this?

Very nice mod, but i haven’t the custom v8 sounds. Only the standart beamng sounds. How do i fix that?

I am sorry for rating this mod 2 stars. It wasn’t the car that was crashing the game, it was the skins for it. Very nice model and a very good attention to detail. I like it.

Probably the best car mod in BeamNG

I don’t know why I never downloaded this mod before. I remember when these cars were everywhere, including hiding in every speed trap. The attention to detail is striking, and models fold up great in a crash.

And the handling. There’s a reason these cars dominated their market, and this mod does a great job of showing it.

Oldsfullsize Cop Pack 1.5.1

A collection of well-known police liveries for the Oldsfullsize

This config requires the codename: oldsfullsize mod as well as the add-on (both by SergentFido). The original files are located here:

This pack includes the following skins for the Delta 88 and Caprice:
— California Highway Patrol (modified from SergentFido’s original Highway Patrol skin)
— Los Angeles Police Department (modified from unknown contributor)
— Chicago Police Department
— Illinois Police Department
— New York Police Department
— Hazzard County Sheriff (from Dukes of Hazzard)
— Montague County Sheriff (from Smokey and the Bandit)

Exclusive skin for the Custom Cruiser:
— Murtaugh’s wagon (from Lethal Weapon 2)

Chicago PD, Illinois State Police, NYPD, Hazzard County, and Montague County skins as well as all license plates are original graphic assets created by me, qwerty9586, from online photos.

All skins include configurations that has tuning that is matched to a Caprice 9C1 (350ci V8 w/ 3.08 LSD) as well as equipment that is specific to the respective livery. Each livery also has custom license plates.

Note: these skins will appear at the end of the list of the Oldsfullsize add-on in the vehicle selector.

Hotfix for 0.20 update and other improvments

The Oldsfullsize is back !

After almost two monthes being outdated, here it’s driving and crashing again.

— Lua that made the car crash at spawn were fixed, thanks to Thomatoes50

— Same goes for the forum specific addon pack that you need to update too.
It gets some nice improvments too.

Major Update of the Addon Pack

To celebrate the three years of the first release of this mod, here is a big update of the addon pack you’ll find in the forum discussion.

This repository car itself gets some tweaking and improvment, but as usual big things always happen in the Addon.

Hotfix for V0.15 and some improvements

V0.15 game update causes crash of the mod, this is the Hotfix with small improvements :

— engine sounds are now vanilla cars ones.
-More content and changes in the addon pack, as usual

West Coast USA update

With the release of West Coast USA in the 0.11 version of the game, i’m now proud to announce you that the Codename : Oldsfullsize has now working horns !

Also the Addon pack in the forum is getting siren sounds, two new presets, and many bug fixes reported in the previous release.

Engine sounds were restored to previous custom sounds instead the new ingame ones, for both codename mod and addon pack.

Don’t forget to download the two.

Hotfix

— fixing the materials when the Codename is alone, without the addon, so it works as standalone.

This doesn’t concern the addon which will get a bugfix update later.

Major Update

— powertrain
— body detachable from frame
— beam limiters on the front end (wip stage) to avoid stretching
— new V8 sound from official cars
— still better to download the huge addon pack linked in the overview for more content.

HOTFIX for V0.9 of the game

Just a little hotfix for the front fenders being dented by the improved anti-stick system of the V0.9 version of the game. Just two nodes misplaced, now at their correct places.

A more complete update of the mod is coming soon (drivetrain, new bodies and so on)

Don’t forget to update the huge addon located in the first message of the discussion about the mod (for the newcomers : lots of variants)

Small Update

Codename : oldsfullsize update :

— added license plate design slot that was missing in the release

— corrected the rear seat panel under the backlight, that wasn’t affected by the deformation (missing groups)

Forum exclusive Addon update :

same update as the codename, bonus :

— fixed the missing belly regular seatbelt for all the drivers but especially for the crashtest.
