Daily run isaac не работает
like for the run today the time record is under 8min and over 57k points.
i rushed this run as hard as possible got like an op item combo was clearing every room in seconds, still i didnt hit over 35k and still took me over 18min.
i dont wanna say im a god and ppl cant be better than me but like this much.
i did the run again in practice and looked at what i may have missed (devil deals shops secret rooms) and there was nothing major that could improve the time THAT much.
even if you get «need to go deeper» i couldnt imagine getting this run done in under 8min.
ps: not that i care too much about it, im just wondering.
Was watching one of the dev’s streams today and they commented on this. Saw one player with over 70k on the daily run, they know people are cheating. Question is, are they going to bother doing anything about it?
I doubt they’ll bother. At the end of the day, the only rankings that should matter to you are the ones between yourself and your friends. We should all know by now that every online game leaderboard has some level of cheating behind it. It’s nothing to get uptight over, but at the same time it is a reminder there are still some very very sad people out there.
Daily challenge doesn’t unlock anything, it’s just a themed run for fun (if you can call playing the Lost fun) so either play it or don’t. You’re not missing out on much if you don’t bother with it.
So i’m not the only one. Just saw the points and guessed there is cheating all over the place. Wont play it for the Ladderboard because i see no point to do it for this thing.

guys, speedrunners can beat the run in under 8 minutes. Doesn’t seem unlikely that people are just speedrunning it.
Except the MAJORITY of your points come from killing enemies and clearing rooms, not speed running it.

Okay, never mind, some research revealed the question:
You can skip days, you just have to win 5 dailies without any death or quit in-between.
Note: if you get disconnected for whatever reason (the «not started but got a score of 0» thing), it will reset the streak.

where can I see my win streak? I can still do normal runs (and die there) independently from my win streak in daily challenges, right?

You can’t (at least not in-game), and yes it shouldn’t affect the daily streak as far as I know.

today’s run, totally OP. except they only let you go to the foot. . .then in the future to balance it out, watch them do one where you get no dps at all and have to fight mega satan. . .

I’m a bit impressed if that’s the case, because i had no idea my words would have such impact.

well, I’m just saying I never saw a daily run where they made you play as the keeper before.
I also never knew about that wiki page.
I was just all like «yeah, they give you brimstone+ spoon bender+tammy’s head, but they only let you go to the foot, then i said watch them make us go to mega satan with no dps.»then the VERY NEXT DAY, it’s play as the keeper. . . the worst character, to mega satan, almost literally what i predicted, except worse, because i never would have predicted they make us use the keeper in a daily run.
I hate when they let you get really OP end the run at the foot, or make you go to beat isaac but then don’t let you go in the chest, the most fun level.. .. . .

Новый соревновательный режим, в котором вам нужно набрать как можно больше очков, после чего ваш результат будет показан в мировой таблице рейтингов.
Дейлы:
Знакомы каждому, кто когда-либо играл в жанр видеоигр MMO.
В Binding of Isaac: Afterbirth будут представляться в виде уникального сида, нового на каждый день.
Вне зависимости от того, открыл ли игрок какой-либо секретный предмет — в дейл забеге он будет присутствовать.
Для прохождений забега дня будет даваться случайный персонаж.
Система подсчёта очков:
Очки могут быть двух видов — положительные и негативные.
Положительные очки:
+200 очков за прохождение уровня.
+400 очков за прохождение Преисподней, Собора, Сундука, Тёмной Комнаты.
+666 за прохождение Комнаты Вызова или Мега Сатану.
+1 бонусный балл за поднятие подбираемого предмета.
Также будут начисляться секретные бонусные баллы. Условия получения неизвестны.
Негативные очки:
-1 очко за каждую секунду игры. Можно забыть о походах за чаем без нажатия паузы.
-10 очков за получение урона от врага\окружения ( не считается урон от предметов\сдачи крови и т.д.)
— . за поднятие предметов (Эдмунд хочет, чтобы игроки думали о
полезности подбираемого артефакта именно для своего прохождения, а не хватали всё подряд)
Условия:
В забеге всегда, точно также как в испытаниях выставлены условия:
Персонаж
Предметы с которыми начинается забег
И финальный уровень до которого максимально можно дойти, например, Преисподняя.
Особенности:
Условия забега обновляется через 24 часа.
Даётся всего одна попытка на забег.
У каждого игрока забег идентичен, вплоть до комнат и выпадающих предметов.

Is cheating in daily runs an issue? I’ve noticed some ridiculous times and scores in past runs and I can’t find anything on how to achieve said ridiculous scores/times or if people are cheating.
If people are cheating, why? That ruins the whole point of the score system.
They cheat because they can.
Its been a problem since before afterbirth+.
People with high scores but not crazy times probably milked collectable points. Unless its really crazy high.
People think there’s some achievement for it, or that there will eventually be one for having a high score in challenge runs.
That or because they’re just bored.
Use this site for scores & ranking instead of the in game one:

The only 2 things I have done or happened to me twice during dailies are, practice twice and the game crashed twice. One time the game crash when the batteries of my xbox controller dies, and one time when I break the game and use a black rune on a room full of items and collectibles.

How exactly would a black rune break the game? It just turns stuff into flies.
