My friend and I chat on Discord all the time and the game doesn’t hinder that at all. You can disable voice chat in the game options too.

Also, calling people OMG stupid when they are trying to help troubleshoot won’t make you any friends in here.

Your original post is very difficult to understand so the very first thing all of us are going to do is suggest the most common fixes. So I will ask nicely now. Have you and everyone else experiencing this issue made sure that your default communication device is set properly?

Some games can detect your microphone automatically while some games require the default to be set properly this game is the later.

It would be nice to have some kind of icon appear when your transmitting audio over voicechat.

If thats the case with the EU, then i can proudly say im an anomaly. I live in Sweden but i happily talk back.

it works without talking yes. but i expected a little more from the players of a coop game XD

b.t.w. as it turns out my headphone microphone wasn´t connected so people could only hear my laptop cooler growl. now it´s connected i get more interaction. still no talking but people at least hear me.

talking is slower anyway ^^
the number of times i used thingamajigg to describe things is way too high

Sometimes my friends tell me my voice ingame was on and they were hearing me twice (ingame voip + discord vc), and I had no idea it was happening because there is no indicator for this thing.

I’ve disabled voice chat to avoid annoying randoms on accident because of this so I only really use the marker to communicate.

i went into a game and had to inform my team via ping voicechat and normal Chat about the Lootbox i found. and the whole game the only response i ever got was ROCK AND STONE. 🙁

I’m a huge Payday 2 fanatic, and this game was suggested a few days ago and it looks pretty amazing. I just have two questions.

1) Is there built in voice chat.

2) If so do people actually use it, generally speaking.

Groovy, looks like a buy then. It’s tough to find a good 4 player coop game.

It is an amazing game hilarious fun with friends and can be a challenge but i will warn you Hosts are unforgiving be prepared to get kicked OR host your own game/play with friends

In payday 2, when people have this happen, we always say HYOG.

Host your own game.

I’m no stranger to jagoff hosts.

I play pubs all the time never had a problem, never been kicked.

I get the feeling most of these guys are total A holes on the mic or they are running about by themselves and then wonder why they get kicked.

But anyway this is about VOIP in DRG which is OUTSTANDING lets not digress onto other areas

Especially since it’s a moot point as I always host to avoid jagoff hosts.

It’s no big deal to me.

Just bought this and I’m getting annoyed by the game not responding to clicks, both primary fire and right click pickaxe..

I have to move or look elsewhere for the game to acknowledge my clicks again

Just me getting this?

That’s pretty unusual — I’m also pretty new to DRG (been playing 5 weeks) — and admittedly, I have a sub-par Laptop for the game — In the 1st week I had some Issues, but most were fixed by going to «Options» go to «Graphics» and set it to Medium — on my comp at Least, there’s no visual difference between Medium, High, and Ultra— and the Game ran a lot better — even now there are times in-mission I have to set the graphics to Low, but the only thing that changes is everything gets a 1995 pixelish look to It

The Graphics/resolution is where much of the smoothing out occurs- If that doesn’t do it, you might have to update your drivers, as i also had to

I’m sure other members of the community will also come on and offer good advice to help you as well
