I am using Eclipse 4.6, with C++ project in linux. if it’s relevant: Compilation is done via CMake makefile. Gdb version is 8.0.1
when using F3 (open declaration), a window is opened with class declarations(e.g. friend class declaration), but not the class definition (i.e. class MyClass : public BaseClass. ).
Also find all references is not working.
used Project->index->rebuild verified that the C++ General/Patch and Symbols/Path is defined properly my indexer settings is in the attached image

Есть проект, открытый в Eclipse. Есть метод, реализацию которого я никак не могу найти. В коде нажимаю правый клик на методе, выбираю «Open Declaration» (или нажать F3). Выскакивает надпись «The Resource is not on the build path of a Java project». И так с каждым методом. Есть подозрение, что криво открыт проект. Как сделать, чтобы «Open Declaration» заработало? Спасибо.

Turn off scalability option:
Window -> Preferences.
check if in Paths and Symbols (also in C/C++ General) your Project is added in Includes. If not: Go to Add. Button then Workspace. then select your workspace. It will be included as Is a workspace path. Maybe this will fix the problem.
That might be because your C/C++ project makes reference to resources from other projects.
On the top menu bar, go to Project -> Properties
A properties window will appear. On the left side menu, go to Project References.
On the box to the right, verify if other projects are listed and check the ones that might be related to yours.
Press Apply and Close button.
Try on your shortcuts again.

I’m newbie using Eclipse 4.2.2′ on ‘Fedora 18’ for a c++ project , while select a function > click on navigate> open declaration ==> open declaration is disabled, and do nothing.. I also tried clr+click and nothing happened. How can I open the functions declaration ? or do I need to install a plugin or.. ?
