We are excited to announce a partnerships with with our friends at Plays.tv.

Plays.tv is an awesome platform to easily record, watch and share your gameplay highlights. Whether you watch a highlight to improve or you share it to brag, videos are an integral part of our competitive experience.

Thanks to the integration with our friends at Plays.tv watching and sharing the best plays you had in a tournament or in a competitive match has never been easier!

You can now share videos of your best plays on your FACEIT profile and on the video section of the competition and matches you were playing in with a single click.

Simply connect your FACEIT account to your Plays.tv account in the client settings, play on FACEIT and upload your videos. Boom — all highlights of a your FACEIT matches are now magically shared on your FACEIT profile in the video section.

Your videos will be visible on user profiles as well as in the match room in a new section called “videos”. In these sections you can select the video you want to watch as well as share them as you like.

To connect your Plays.tv account, just follow these 3 simple steps:

• Download the Plays.tv client, which can be found here , and login to or create your Plays.tv account.
• Go to “connected accounts” by clicking on your user name in the client, which opens the web platform, where you will find “connected accounts” in the header dropdown next to your account name, as shown below:

• Here you connect your FACEIT account by authenticating with your FACEIT credentials. That’s it, you’re all set.

FACEIT Highlights, Wingman Matchmaking, Elo Reverts for Smurfing Bans & New Reporting System

in today’s blog, we’re going to cover:

• FACEIT Highlights: a brand new feature that allows you to automatically capture, save and share video clips of your best plays during a FACEIT match.
• 2v2 Wingman Matchmaking queue: quickly jump into a Wingman match hosted on 128-Tick servers and with Anti-Cheat enforced for all players.
• New Elo Reversion for smurfing bans: bans for smurfing now trigger a new Elo reversion mechanics to restore/remove Elo unfairly lost/won in FACEIT matches.
• New Reporting system: integrated into the platform directly to replace the current reporting flow based on tickets and make our moderation effort more effective, precise and responsive.

FACEIT Highlights

FACEIT Highlights is a brand new system that has been designed to capture, save and share video clips of your best gaming moments during a FACEIT match. After several months of development and testing, today we’re releasing Highlights in full, with two approaches to capturing clips: a manual clipping system which is available for everyone for free; and an automated clips engine which is available for all the Premium players.

Manual Clips — FREE

By running our desktop app, players can use the Manual Clip feature to capture and save Highlights of their best game plays during a FACEIT match by simply pressing a hotkey of choice.

All Manual clips are saved and stored locally on your PC and shown in your personal gallery on the FACEIT app from where it is possible to edit, delete and publish all your video Highlights.

The system works similarly to other Video Clipping products. Our main goal with this feature is to provide an alternative solution to solve a historical pain point players have been experiencing by playing on FACEIT, related to some compatibility issues between our Anticheat app and some third party video clip tools (ShadowPlay especially).

We made multiple attempts to solve those compatibility issues but unfortunately, the conversations with other third parties have been slow/unresponsive and therefore we decided to provide the community with this alternative solution to everyone for free.

Automatic Clips — PREMIUM

For Premium users, FACEIT Highlights features a further innovative Automatic Clip system that is able to automatically recognise, capture and save your best moments while you are playing a FACEIT match. While you focus on the game, this system will ensure that all your best plays will never be lost, all without requiring any manual action from you.

Similarly to Manual Clips, all the highlights automatically recorded can be managed by accessing your personal library on the FACEIT app.

Both Manual and Automatic Clips can be enabled by accessing the new Highlight Studio (top right icon) on your desktop FACEIT app. From the HIGHLIGHT menu, it will be possible also to customize your clip settings such as Hotkeys, enabling/disabling audio, changing clip capture length, frame rate, bit rate and more.

Wingman Matchmaking queue (Weekend Test)

In the past few months, many players from the community have been requesting a new system to allow you to easily access and play Wingman matches on FACEIT servers.

This weekend, players from Europe and North America will have the chance to grab their best friend and test a new Matchmaking queue to play Wingman matches against other players with the same skills on 128-tick servers and with the Anti-cheat enforced for all the participants.

All Wingman matches are also valid for a special set of ladders and missions which will reward the best duos of the weekend.

Here’s a quick summary of the schedule, requirements and competitions:

• Queues will open from 19:00 CEST Friday (EU) and 17:00 CT on Friday (NA)
• The test will close 23:59 CEST on Sunday (EU) and 23:59 CT on Sunday (NA)
• For the duration of the test, we’re running a free ladder available to all the users who play Wingman, as well as a Premium mission
• Players can queue as duos or (if your friend is busy) as solos

Elo Reverts for Smurfing

In April, we shared some information about product updates to tackle toxic and abusive behaviour on FACEIT. In that blog post, we also mentioned that we’d be reverting Elo gained through these abusive behaviours like Smurfing and Boosting.

From today, bans for smurfing will trigger an Elo reversion mechanic that will be applied to the last 50 matches played by the banned user where players have unfairly won or lost Elo:

• Players who lost matches (and Elo) against the banned player, will receive back the Elo unfairly lost in those matches;
• Players who formed a party with the banned users will have any unfairly gained Elo reverted and removed for any games won in that party;
• Players who played in the same team as the banned user but not in a party with them will not have their Elo impacted;
• Players who played against the banned user and won matches will not have their Elo impacted.

Similarly to what already happens in the case of Elo reversion after bans for Cheating, whenever your Elo will be reverted for the cases described above, you’ll receive a notification on the platform containing the amount of Elo that has been received/removed

New Reporting system from user profiles

Every month we receive, track and monitor many reports that are being sent by the community using several systems between in-game report commands, post-match screens and tickets.

While in-game commands and post-match reports remain an important and effective source of information to support our moderation systems (Minerva and Justice in particular), when it comes to the ticket system, this approach became quite ineffective and hard to manage at the current scale (with more than 10,000 player reports being sent each month via support tickets).

To simplify the process and to make those more general player reports more actionable, we decided to develop a new reporting feature that can be accessed directly from a player’s profile, making it easier to fill a report to flag potential toxic, disruptive or harmful behaviour from other players.

Thanks to this new approach, our Community Support team will be able to track, prioritise and take actions more effectively and trigger automated notifications for all the players whose reports contributed to bringing to our attention the cases that needed our intervention.

On top of the new reporting feature, and also available from the player’s profile, players will be able to block any social interaction with that user who will not be able to send, see or receive any of your social posts or chat messages.

Patch Notes

Finally, there are a couple of additional improvements and patches to let you know about:

• We’ve hotfixed the Elo and League Point penalty system (that we have introduced in April) to prevent players in matches where all players have more than 2100 Elo from being unfairly penalised due to discrepancies in Elo at the highest-levels.
• When launching the FACEIT Anti-Cheat while CS:GO client has been started already, you will now be prompted a dialogue that will automatically close and restart both AC and Game clients (previously an error would have occurred and the player would have to manually close and restart both applications in sequence)

Faceit highlights не работают

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive

Faceit — это независимая платформа для проведения профессиональных соревнований и любительских игр, которая была основана в 2012 году. Faceit управляет лигами киберспорта в таких играх как, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, League of Legends, Rocket League, Dota 2 и, с недавнего времени, PUBG.

В руководстве мы будем рассматривать данную площадку на примере CS:GO.

Чтобы начать играть, вам нужно зарегистрироваться.

1. Нужно перейти по ссылке [www.faceit.com]
2. Нажать кнопку «Зарегистрироваться бесплатно»
3. Ввести Ваш адрес электронной почты (на неё позже придёт письмо с подтверждением)
4. Заполнить анкету, которая предоставляется дальше по регистрации (придумать Ник, заполнить Имя и Фамилию, придумать пароль и заполнить дату Вашего рождения)
5. Подключить Ваш steam аккаунт (Внимание! Один аккаунт Steam можно подключить только к одному аккаунту Faceit. Если вы будете создавать аккаунт повторно, то Вам придётся использовать новый аккаунт Steam и деактивировать предыдущий аккаунт Faceit, чтобы не получить блокировку по причину Multi-account)

На Faceit используется видоизменённая система рангов CS:GO. Заместо рангов на Faceit действуют уровни, значимость которых нельзя сравнивать с рангами в Matchmaking. Ваш уровень зависит от количества набранных очков ELO. Уровни:

• 10 lvl — Самый высокий, раскрывающий многие двери, про которых поговорим позже.
• 9 lvl
• 8 lvl
• 7 lvl
• 6 lvl
• 5 lvl
• 4 lvl
• 3 lvl — стартовый, даётся при регистрации аккаунта.
• 2 lvl
• 1 lvl

С 1 по 4 lvl на Faceit играют совершенно разные игроки. В этом болоте Вам могут встретиться как 3 новы, так и люди, у которых 3-5 тысяч часов, которые не будут давать вам проходу. По моему мнению, это самые трудные уровни. Помимо противников, которые будут превосходить Вас по скиллу, существуют союзники, которые тоже будут препятствовать игре.

К сожалению, не все игроки обладают скиллом, сопоставимым с Вашим — это, половина того, чем тиммейты будут способствовать Вашим проигрышам.

Никто не исключает токсичных игроков, которые чаще всего встречаются именно на этих уровнях — это вторая половина, почему, из-за тиммейтов вы можете проиграть.

Не хочу нагнетать обстановку и преждевременно настраивать Вас против данной площадки, но я имею более 150 сыгранных матчей и имею 1 lvl, поймав лузстрик из 15 проигрышей. Основная моя ошибка — игра в соло — об этом речь также пойдёт далее.

UPD: На данный момент, 6 lvl. Стак собрал.

Одним из главных достоинств Faceit, по которому люди начинают тут играть — сервера, имеющие 128 tickrate.

TickRate — Единица измерения отправки и получения данных с сервера в секунду.

Если говорить более понятным языком, то пули, которые вы отправляете в своего противника, будут более точно регистрироваться на серверах, чем если бы вы играли на серверах с 64 tickrate. Так же работает и регистрация ваших движений.

Игрокам из Европы и СНГ доступны сервера в:

1. Швеции — лучший сервер для людей в Московской области и рядом.
2. Германии — тоже не плохие сервера, но пинг больше чем в Швеции.
3. Нидерландах — думаю, самые крайние допустимые сервера для людей в МСК и рядом.
4. Франции
5. Великобритании

Крупные хабы и лиги часто используют свои сервера, подходящие для игроков, которые играют там.

На Faceit используется собственный античит, который минимизирует количество игроков, пользующихся сторонними программами, дающими преимущество над другими игроками.

Но, всё же, Faceit не утопия, и читеры там всё же встречаются, но крайне редко. Например, из 150 игр, сыгранных мной, явных читеров, по моему мнению, а также, мнению моих тиммейтов, было от силы, может, 3-4. Повторюсь, они есть, но это не Matchmaking, в котором, даже с Прайм-статусом попадаются читеры в большинстве случаев либо за, либо против тебя.

Также, на Faceit есть мощная администрация, которая очень оперативно рассматривает дела, если оставить жалобу на игрока. Это касается как нечестной игры, так и токсичности и нетерпимости к игрокам по причинам расовых, религиозных, языковых и других отличий.

Администрация Faceit работает как в профессиональных лигах, так и на низких уровнях. И если читера не забанил античит (что с ним случится вскоре), то настоятельно рекомендую посмотреть запись игры от лица подозреваемого, и если опасения подтверждаются, то написать сообщение, как в службу поддержки, так и в состав администрации, через жалобу в комнате матча.

На Faceit также, существует платный сегмент, который включает в себя официальную подписку Faceit под определённую игру, а также, множество хабов, которые привязаны к разным регионам, странам и подобному.

Существует две вариации подписок Faceit:

Faceit CS:GO (или по любой другой игре, которая поддерживается Faceit) — она даёт доступ к CS:GO 5×5 Premium (тот же самый обычный бесплатный режим, только уже с ещё меньшим количеством читеров, более адекватными тиммейтами, а так же, дающий возможность голосования за кик игрока во время игры), к премиум турнирам и к официальным лигам Faceit. В обычном CS;GO 5×5 вы будете всегда назначаться капитаном вашей команды.

Faceit PREMIUM — тот же самый Faceit CS:GO, только с поддержкой других игр и возможностью выполнять ежедневные миссии, за выполнение которых, Вам начисляются Faceit Point — валюта, которая заменяет рубли/доллары/евро на Faceit. За них можно покупать скины, реальные вещи, доходя до свитшотов, ПК и автомобилей.

Для обычного игрока будет достаточно возможностей обычной Faceit CS:GO подписки.

Всяческих лиг очень много, они будут высвечиваться вам в рекомендованных подписках в меню клиента или сайта.

По достижению Вам в любом случае придётся оформлять подписку, чтобы участвовать в официальных Faceit лигах.

Если Вы намерены достичь чего-то большего, чем просто 10 lvl, то для Вас существует Faceit Premium Master League!

Заняв топ-100 этой лиги в течение сезона, Вам предстоит пройти отборочные квалификации в Faceit Pro Leage Challenger. Если вы закрепляетесь в пятёрке лучших игроков квалификации, то попадаете в FPL-C!

Также, слоты в FPL-C разыгрываются в лигах, которые напрямую сотрудничают с Faceit. Такие как CIS Legue или недавно открывшаяся ECL League.

В FPL-C каждый месяц разыгрывается $3,000, а главным призом является пропуск в профессиональную киберспортивную лигу — Faceit Pro League. Это лига, в которой играют большинство самых сильных профессиональных игроков мира.

Обеспечив место в сильнейшей лиге в мире ты сможешь ежемесячно бороться за славу и призовой фонд в $20,000.

Игроки из этой лиги, зачастую становятся игроками действующих профессиональных команд, заняв высокие места в топе FPL. Это Robin «ropz» Kool, Özgür “woxic” Eker, David “Frozen” Čerňanský и многие другие игроки.

Чтобы у вас не возникало ненужных проблем, не поленитесь — найдите или соберите стак/команду с которой будете играть на Faceit. Это значительно облегчит Вам игровой процесс, потому что Вам не будут попадаться вечно орущие безрукие тиммейты.
