KVM (или kvm over ip) — устройство, позволяющее передавать видеосигнал и ввод с мыши/клавиатуры по сети с использованием IP-протокола от вашего сервера. При помощи KVM вы можете перезагрузить сервер, получить доступ в BIOS сервера и к другим функциям, которые невозможно выполнить на сервере через терминал. KVM-доступ вы можете бесплатно подключить на странице услуги.

KVM предоставляется на первые два часа в день бесплатно. Плата за последующее подключение KVM составляет 30 минут — 300 рублей.

Авторизуйтесь на сайте REG.RU, перейдите в Личный кабинет и нажмите по строке «Выделенный сервер»:

Работа через утилиты

При работе через утилиты, нет необходимости настраивать Java.
Для управления KVM пользователи Windows могут воспользоваться утилитами:

• CN8000 WinClient — для KVM от производителя ATEN;
• CN8000A WinClient — для KVM от производителя ATEN;
• CN8000 JavaClient — для KVM от производителя ATEN;
• CN8000A JavaClient — для KVM от производителя ATEN;
• KVM Vision Viewer — для KVM от других производителей.

Работа в браузере

Для работы с KVM браузер должен поддерживать Java. Браузеры Opera и Chrome (начиная с версии Cromium 42) и стандартная редакция Firefox (версии выше 52) больше не поддерживают Java. Из обновляемых браузеров, поддержка Java есть в Firefox ESR (вплоть до марта 2018 года).

Работа web-интерфейса для моделей KVM CN8000A гарантирована только в браузерах на основе движка Gecko (например, FireFox). В Webkit (Chromium и основанные на нём) могут наблюдаться проблемы c отображением элементов. В этом случае рекомендуем использовать Windows или Java-клиенты.

Если в консоли KVM черный экран, надпись «No Signal»

В случае длительного бездействия экран будет отключен (появится надпись «No Signal»), для возобновления необходимо нажать любую клавишу в консоли (рекомендуем нажимать «Alt» или «Ctrl» вместо «Enter» во избежание выполнения команды, набранной в консоли ранее).

Не работает клавиатура в консоли KVM

Попробуйте выполнить сброс устройства KVM. Для этого авторизуйтесь в веб-интерфейсе KVM, перейдите в раздел «Maintenance» и выполните сброс. Обычно данный пункт носит название «Unit Reset», «Reset USB». Через 2 минуты после сброса проверьте работу клавиатуры в KVM.

Что делать, если не открывается окно KVM на Java

Если не открывается окно KVM продолжительное время, проверьте, установлена ли Java на ПК. Перейдите на официальный сайт Java, затем кликните на ссылку «Установлено ли на моем компьютере программное обеспечение Java?». Если Java установлена, то следуйте инструкции ниже.

В настройках Java Security Level необходимо установить уровень безопасности Medium (Средний) (удален из Java 8 обновление 20 и более поздних версий): https://www.java.com/ru/download/help/jcp_security.xml

Для запуска консоли KVM нужно выполнить три пункта:

Внести изменения в файл java.security. Файл находится в JDK_HOME/jre/lib/security/java.security , обычно это пути:

для ОС Windows:
C:\Program Files\Java\jre1.8.0_91\lib\security для 64-битных версий JAVA или
C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_91\lib\security для 32-битных версий.

для ОС Linux:
/usr/lib/jvm/java-7-openjdk-amd64/jre/lib/security/java.security
либо можно найти файл командой в консоли Linux:
find /usr/lib/ -name java.security

В этом файле нужно закомментировать строку, которая начинается на:

jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms
т.е. добавить символ «#» вначале строки, например:
# jdk.certpath.disabledAlgorithms=MD2, RSA keySize

Обратите внимание, что для правки файла java.security необходимо запустить текстовый редактор от имени администратора (для Windows) или суперпользователя root (для Linux).

В случае, если проблема сохранится, попробуйте установить Java 7 и настроить уровень безопасности Medium (см. выше).

Если перечисленные выше способы вам не помогли и при открытии окна KVM появляются какие-либо сообщения об ошибках, следует обратиться к официальному руководству JAVA на сайте разработчика: http://java.com/ru/download/help/

В качестве решения попробуйте использовать ОС Windows и браузер Internet Explorer версии 9.
Также возможна работа в системах Linux x32 при использовании Firefox и 7 версии Java.
Дополнительно вы можете воспользоваться режимом эмуляции старых браузеров в браузере Internet Explorer 11 (доступно по кнопке F12).

Две типичные проблемы с настройкой iKVM

Достаточно часто с первого раза не получается подключиться к интерфейсу iKVM. Это происходит по разным причинам – интерфейс находится за файерволом или неправильно настроены параметры безопасности Java.

После установки Java с сайта Java.com, необходимо внести адрес вашего IPMI в список разрешенных адресов (Exception Site List),

Панель управления -> программы -> Java

открываем закладку Security

нажимаем кнопку “Edit Site List…”

проверяем установку галки “Enable Java content inthe browser”

Добавляем и http, и https адреса.

— Файрвол

Если при подключении к KVM подключение проходит, но в окне JAVA ничего не отображается, или не пробрасывается ISO диск, вероятнее всего, проблема в том, что на файрволе установленном по пути трафика от устройства IPMI/KVM до вашего компьютера не открыты нужные порты.

В соответствии с вашей архитектурой сети и моделью файервола нужно открыть следующие порты:

22	SSH консоль
80	подключение к веб консоли
443	подключение к веб консоли по https
162	SNMP Trap, может использоваться для KVM
623	KVM трафик
664	KVM трафик, шифрованный
5901	виртуальные устройства

We are going to use a Dell PowerEdge C node to show how to fix this and get to work in a matter of seconds. Although we are using a server application to demonstrate this technique, it will work for other applications where a similar issue is present.

The error is likely happening especially for server administrators due to the Java application having a self-signed certificate. On older generations of servers, before IPMI security was seen as a major issue, it was common practice for server vendors to self-sign IPMI certificates. Since then two things have happened. First, Oracle began blocking self-signed certificates in standard security settings. This change is why there are so many servers out there still with this issue.

These patches require IPMI firmware to be upgraded which can be risky on a remote installation. Not all vendors have updated firmware available to fix this issue. The real fix is to upgrade the BMC firmware or whatever Java application you are trying to run. If this is not possible here is the workaround. To demonstrate the issue, we are using one of our Dell PowerEdge C nodes which has an older self-signed Java application certificate.

One might notice this is not the standard iDRAC interface. Form the appearance, we think it is running the Avocent BMC software.

On Windows 10 you can head to the search bar, start typing Java and you can go directly to the Java Control Panel. Move to the Security tab. Lowering the security level to High will not fix this issue. In our example the IP is We have found a few machines that required both but most work with just https.

The first think that I did is launching the «jviewer. This solution works until the web session is closed. I try to replace the encrypted argument with the username and password. But somehow there is session id embedded. The argument username and password replacement will work if the jnlp is named as «launch.

That work so the connection is ok. Also the same result: Connection failed The connection failed comes with a warning box. On OK is closed the application. I hope that someone knows what the argument mean for the jnlp file or the someone has a working solution for this problem. Only now it will write the login page in the viewer.

There are only problems with the iKVM viever. If you use ipmi console over serial or over SOL, there is no any issues. I see only two possible reasons to use the iKVM viever: — first because it allows you to use virtual storage with is usefull especjally for initial system bulding — second it is like KVM so you actual see the server console even in graphical mode. From the other hand did someone try to connect to the VNC port on IPMI module, maybe if one could know the exact parameters needed to establish connection there would be no need to use the iKVM at all?

I tried to connect to the VNC port using a standard client, but only managed to get it broken — after a few attempts, it stopped accepting connections.
