Как настроить livesplit для outlast

Outlast | Free Camera, FOV, Remove Grain Filter, Remove Motion Blur, Change Resolution, etc. [ENG / RUS]

✔ In this guide, I’ll show you how to use the «Free Camera» in this game, change FOV, remove Grain Filter, etc.

✔ В данном руководстве я расскажу вам как использовать «свободную камеру» в игре, а также как поменять угол обзора, как избавиться от эффекта зернистости и многое другое.

It’s important — You will change in-game files, so in order to avoid problems later, pre make copies of the files that are going to change.

Важно — Вам придется изменять внутриигровые файлы, так что во избежание проблем в дальнейшем, предварительно сделайте копии тех файлов, что собираетесь изменять.

● Go to «OLGame.ini» (located in My Documents / My Games / Outlast / OLGame / Config), open it, look for «DefaultFOV=» and «RunningFOV=», defaultfov is by default at 90 but is not the 90 that all we now, it is like 65, so to get like 90 you have to write:

This is like FOV 90 in other games

IMPORTANT — When you look through your camera you have the old defalut FOV, so to change the default Camera FOV, change this parameters:

Note — you can go higher or lower if you want.

• В конфиг файлах игры ищем файл «OLGame.ini», открываем его, находим «DefaultFOV=» и «RunningFOV=». Стандартный FOV стоит 90, но это не тот 90 который нам всем знаком, это где то 65, итак чтобы поменять его на 90 нужно прописать следующее:

Remove «Motion Blur»

● Open «OLSystemSettings.ini», change this:

• Убираем эффект размытости. Открываем «OLSystemSettings.ini» и меняем эти параметры:

Должно выглядеть так:

Change it to whatever you want (800×600, 1920×1080, 3840×2160, etc)

• Меняем разрешение. В «OLSystemSettings.ini» находим параметры:

Меняем разрешение на какое вам угодно (800×600, 1920×1080, 3840×2160, и т.д)

Change «Battery Life»

to the desired value. I think it is measured in seconds, so 150 seconds.

I think 300 sec. is enough.

• Меняем время разряда батареи. В файле «OlGame.ini» меняем параметр:

Скорее всего 150 это секунды, ставим любое количесто секунд на свое усмотрение.

Лично мне хватает и 300 сек.

Remove «Grain Filter»

● Go to: C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonOutlastEngineConfig

Then open «ConsoleVariables.ini» and underneath «[Startups]» write: «ImageGrain = 0.0» or the desired value.

So it looks like:

• Убираем эффект зернистости. Проходим по пути: C:Program Files (x86)SteamSteamAppscommonOutlastEngineConfig

Затем открываем файл «ConsoleVariables.ini», ищем раздел «[Startups]» и под ним находим параметр «ImageGrain =», меняем на нужное вам значение.

● Open «OLInput.ini» (located in My Documents / My Games / Outlast / OLGame / Config) and add the code below to the sections called [GameFramework.DebugCameraInput] and [OLGame.OLPlayerInput]:

• Проходим по пути My Documents / My Games / Outlast / OLGame / Config

Примечание — некоторые команды могут не работать в новых версиях игры. Лично я пользовался только свободной камерой и убирал туман. Интересной является команда «Show LEVELCOLORATION», она показывает каким выглядел уровень изначально (т.е. на стадии разработки)

Как настроить livesplit для outlast

Well im kinda new to speedrunning not gonna lie, but im trying to speedrun Outlast in the Glitchless category for a few weeks now. Theres only one problem: I cant make a split when im ingame and that costs me a lot of time.
I play in windowed mode and i have the «always on top» box checked but it still doesnt work.
My PB atm is 54:12 but would do a lot better if I wouldnt have to tab out all the time just to make a split.

Do you have global hotkeys set on on livesplit’s settings. Other than that I don’t know what’s the problem.

I had the same problem but i dont remember what i did to fix it, but even so, splits are not vital, just do a run with the timer, i know its cool having splits but you dont need them to get a good time, just start the timer and stop the timer at the end, its the easiest solution!

Как настроить livesplit для outlast

First of all I want to state that you do not need to use any of these features, they are all optional. However, since Outlast is timed without loads, runs that do not use the load remover will need to be retimed more heavily when it is being reviewed, which may cause you to wait longer for verification since we will need to also retime it.

With that out of the way, lets actually get to the set up process. First of all you must download the app Livesplit onto your computer you can do so here.

Once you download it, open up Livesplit. Once it is opened, right click on Livesplit and hover over «Compare Against» and select «Game Time» This will activate the load remover, which will automatically remove loads for you

Next, right click on Livesplit and press «Edit Splits. «

In the game name section type «Outlast». Do not select Outlast Category Extensions, even if you are doing a run on the CE boards. Run category does not need to be filled in but you should fill it in anyway. Type in the category you are running here (Any%, No OoB, Glitchless No S+Q ect.)

Click «Activate» and then click «Settings». You will see 3 checkboxes at the very top, Start, Split, and Reset. Reset will be blurred out since this autosplitter does not have a reset function. Check start if you would like Livesplit to automatically start

Under that there should be a bunch of checkboxes. Basically, if the checkbox is checked, it will split once you pass that specific checkpoint. If it is unchecked it will not split at that checkpoint. Feel free to customize however you would like.

If you want Livesplit to automatically start you move and end automatically when Miles’ hand touches the floor, check «Start». If you want it to split where you have it customized, check split. If you need splits there are some under the resources tab provided by myself and a few other people.

Before you start doing runs, note that the autostart will not work if you start from a «new game» state. You must load the checkpoint Admin_Gates (For Whistleblower load the save Hospital_Free) you can easily see this by turning on checkpoint names. Not only will this make the automatic start work, but it will also skip the car cutscene and is completely allowed to be used in submitted runs.

If the above did not work, and you made sure you followed everything correctly run Livesplit in admin, if it still doesn’t work run both Outlast and Livesplit in admin (You may need to run your recording software in admin if its not picking up the game).

Гайд: Как улучшить графику Outlast вручную

Судя по отзывам, уже многие начали играть в Outlast. И как вам графика? В целом ничего особенно поразительного нет, благо разработчики использовали старый добрый Unreal Engine 3 и не стремились выжать из него максимум возможностей. Основное внимание команда уделяла стабильности Outlast, и у них это получилось очень хорошо.

Однако это не значит, что игру нельзя сделать немного симпатичней. Для этого всего лишь необходимо вручную изменить некоторые данные в файлах к игре. Какие именно особенности графики Outlast можно изменить? Область обзора (FOV), изменить сглаживание (AA), отключить предел частоты кадров, повысить разрешение текстур и отключить размытие движений.

Внимание!
Все изменения производятся на свой страх и риск! Если вы не уверены в результате, лучше вообще не трогать!
Перед редактированием сделайте бэкап файлов!

После изменений в свойствах отредактированных файлов ставьте галочку «только чтение».

#1 Как изменить область обзора (FOV) Outlast

  • Откройте файл OLGame.ini, он находится в Ваш Профиль\My Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Config\OLGame.ini
  • Измените значения DefaultFOV и RunningFOV на те, которые удобны вам.
    – если вы хотите сохранить эффект зуммирования, то RunningFOV должен быть выше DefaultFOV
  • Сохраните файл

#2 Как изменить сглаживание (anti-aliasing) в Outlast

  • Откройте файл OLSystemSettings.ini, он находится в Ваш Профиль\My Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Config\OLSystemSettings.ini
  • Найдите строки «MaxMultiSamples=1» и «bAllowD3D9MSAA=False»
  • Замените на «MaxMultiSamples=2» и «bAllowD3D9MSAA=True»
    — MaxMultiSamples можно ставить на 2, 4 и 8 – чем выше значение, тем больше сглаживание
  • Сохраните файл

#3 Как отключить предел частоты кадров в Outlast

  • Откройте файл OLEngine.ini, он находится Ваш Профиль\My Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Config
  • Найдите «bSmoothFrameRate=TRUE», «MinSmoothedFrameRate=22», и «MaxSmoothedFrameRate=62»
  • Замените на:
    bSmoothFrameRate=FALSE, MinSmoothedFrameRate=0 и MaxSmoothedFrameRate=0
  • Сохраните

#4 Как увеличить разрешение текстур в Outlast

  • Отройте файл OLEngine.ini, он находится в Ваш Профиль\My Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Config
  • Найдите строки «MaxProcBuildingLODColorTextureSize=1024» и «MaxProcBuildingLODLightingTextureSize=256»
  • На: «MaxProcBuildingLODColorTextureSize=2048» и
    «MaxProcBuildingLODLightingTextureSize=1024»
  • Можете поэкспериментировать с разрешением, но это самое лучшее
  • Сохраните

#5 Как отключить размытие в Outlast

  • Откройте файл OLSystemSettings.ini, он находится в Ваш Профиль\My Documents\My Games\Outlast\OLGame\Config
  • Найдите строки: «MotionBlur=True», «MotionBlurPause=True» и «MotionBlurSkinning=1»
  • Замените на:
    MotionBlur=False
    MotionBlurPause=False
    MotionBlurSkinning=0
