Push notification on Hikvision devices
Hikvision devices owners can access their surveillance system on multiple ways: through web browser, using IVMS-4200, IVMS-5200 Professional and the last but not the least by using a dedicated software for mobile monitoring on both platforms iOS and Android as well, IVMS-4500. The mobile IVMS-4500 application is a powerfull tool, free to download form App Store and Google Market, keeps users fully notified in case of an event occur. For example if a motion detection was detected, the equipment can be set in order to push that event over your smartphone, were you can either watch the playback file or see the real time images. This is another way to keep your property secure despite the distance.
I assume that you already perform the following:
- Port forwarding for your device (DVR/NVR/IP CAMERA).
- Installing the IVMS-4500 from App Store or Google Market.
There are two main settings you need to perform in order to get a notification on your smartphone. The first one is enabling a full notification in case of motion detection on your device, and the second one is to set the alarm notification on the IVMS-4500.
The first step in making this work is to set the DVR, in our case, to detect all the motion in camera’s FOV. For this please access the DVR’s web page. The default credentials are admin/12345.
Once you logged in, the DVR redirects you on the Live View TAB. In order to access the administration page please hit the Configuration button.
From the Configuration page, choose the Remote Configuration option, then Camera Settings, go to Motion Detection page and select the channel for which motion detection will be defined. First of all, the Enable Motion Detection option needs to be active, then under Area Settings buy using Draw Area option, the most important image zones can be selected for motion detection monitoring.
Under the Arming Schedule, a schedule can be defined. By default all week day are selected. The users can define the schedule anyway they want.
Once a schedule was defined, the next step is to access the Linkage Method tab. From here an action can be defined in case of motion detection. There are four different methods, such as Full Screen Monitoring, Audible Warning-both this methods will affect the local monitoring mode. Fore example, if Full Screen Monitoring was selected,the live view layout displayed on monitored will be switched to a single view layout containing the camera on which the motion occur, or/and play an alarm sound. An email can be also sent whe a motion occur, this topic was covered by “EMAIL NOTIFICATION ON HIKVISION DEVICES” article.The option we are interested is “Notify the Surveillance Center”. Hit save.
At this moment your device is able to send notification to a surveillance center in case of motion detection 24X7.
Now is time to set the IVMS-4500 in order to make it work. The first set is to add your device in the application.
- From the Live View window click and choose Device option in order to register your device.
- Click
to add a new device. The adding method is Manual Adding. From the Edit Device page you need to : - Set an Alias to your equipment.
- Use an IP/DomainRegister Mode. There are three different options available depending on your internet connection on location where the equipment is installed. Long story short, if you own an static IP, IP/Domain is the registered mode used. In case you do not have such service the second way to access your device is by using a free HiDDNS server, free of charge. The third way is by using an IP Server. In our case we’ll gona use an IP/Domain option.
- Port: The 8000 device port need to be used.
- Username and password are mandatory.
- Click
to save the settings.
In order to enable push notification on IVMS-4500 you need to perform the following settings:
- From the Live View window click and choose Alarm option in order to enable the alarm on your device. From the Alarm page, click Set Alarm Notification button.
- Select the device, and enable the alarm notification for that device.
- If IVMS-4500 is not opened, if a notification was pushed buy your equipment, and notification icon appears on top of your smartphone screen. You can click on that notification, and the IVMS-4500 redirects you on an alarm information page.
- From the alarm information page, you can choose a certain alarm and access the Live View feed or perform a remote playback of the event that had generated the alarm.

Андроид с версией 5.1.1 у меня подключён по вайфаю в локальную сеть. Напишите, как у Вас?

На Андроиде работает и 3ж, моя ошибка: просто переключил с Вайфая на 3ж без перезапуска проги. Правда время на сообщении о событии показывает на час раньше реального на реге.
У кого работает на Айфоне эта функция, просьба сообщить.

| Отпишитесь ещё по времени события в проге. Тревожный вход будет только показывать, но и в мануале не написано о переходе на это событие в запись или ливью. | А что означает «время в проге»? В смысле соответствует указанное время пуша с временем сработки регистратора? По поводу входов. Действительно пуши от входов не указывают ни на одну из камер и перейти на запись невозможно. Это плохо. Я пробовал ставить галочку «активируемый канал», но это влияет только на отправку снимков с той камеры на емейл. | ||

| Да в общем-то и у меня статика и всё работало, но как у ТС в один момент исчезло. Поставил hik-connect, 303МБ вместо 15, но кнопки аларм не нашёл. NVR добавил, показывает, а где раздел тревоги? Войти в сам хикконект не смог, старый пароль цифры и строчные. Пытаюсь поменять- гоняет по кругу установления региона. В общем похоже какой-то благ в проге. И размер её убивает, похоже телефон шерстит она по полной от куков до действий пользователя. push-уведомления приходят только в приложение Hik-connect, если устройство добавлено по р2р.
