Как настроить тун хад
First, open TF2’s custom folder. If you already have a HUD here, remove it or move it somewhere else.
C:\Program Files (x86)\ Steam\steamapps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\custom
Path depends where you’ve installed Steam. You can check the right path like this.
Back to browser.
Select a theme you want to download and click Download button.
Download screen pops up. First it downloads ToonHUD zip file and then it edits the zip file to add the theme in it.
If the installations stops and/or you get an error at this point, make sure don’t have any addons on your browser that could block javascript and/or downloading from Mediafire (like NoScript). Also try to refresh the page (Ctrl + F5) and try again. If you still get an error, change the download source in your ToonHUD account settings.
Browser should return a zip file of your HUD now.
Open the zip file and drag’n’drop the toonhud folder to your custom folder. That’s it, open TF2 and enjoy!
When you update your HUD, repeat these steps!

Some answers for frequently asked questions and other tips
Default/centered mode
How can I use a custom font?
First you install the font you want to use to your computer. In ToonHUD Editor you select «Custom» in Font section. Then you type the actual name of the font in the text fields (Primary/secondary font). Do not type font’s filename. This is also case-sensitive!
Check out below how to get the actual name of the font
You can also use softwares that uses and lists fonts from your computer, like Paint or WordPad (in Windows)
My screen is all white in-game
You are trying to using transparent viewmodels with DirectX 8. Remove transparent viewmodels or switch to DirextX 9.
How to switch to DirectX 9
After you have added dxlevel as a launch option, start TF2, close it and remove dxlevel from your launch options.
Low health/ammo color is shown even if it’s full
HUD animations gets often stuck when they are active when you die in game. You can wait until the animation is runned again, or you can use Reload button in main menu. Reload button runs «hud_reloadscheme» console command.
Hitmarker stuck
Check the answer above. (HUD animations)
Disable floating health bar
Notice: You can see MvM bosses’ health only when floating health bar is enabled

To enable closed captions, open TF2 and go to Options > Audio > Captioning > Closed Captions / Subtitles
Closed captions contains more unnecessary info than Subtitles, like «Demoman hurt a bit»
If it doesn’t work, make sure your caption language is english by typing this into console: cc_lang english
Edit closed captions
Verify integrity of game cache
Try this if you have problems with your game. Missing materials, models or if your HUD is really broken.
Custom folder location
This way you can make sure you put the HUD in the correct folder. Click «Browse local files. » and open tf and custom folders.
Can I post my theme to GameBanana?
No. GameBanana is for self-made content. You didn’t make ToonHUD even if you edited it with the editor.

Всем привет!
Я хочу рассказать, как вы можете при помощи ToonHUD`а изменить всем привычное меню и т.д. на что-то более красивое.
Теперь объясню, как разобраться. Если что, то это обзор у тех у кого Windows.
Как перейдете по ссылке выше. Вы попадете на оф. сайт ToonHUD`а. Слева вверху будет клавиша Download.
Выбираете ToonHUD Updater и качаете, как скачается данный файл. Извлеките на любой из дисков C/D (папка ToonHUD).
После того, как вы это сделаете откройте Steam наведите мышку на TF2 правой кнопкой мышкой —>Свойства—>Локальные файлы—>Просмотреть локальные файлы. Сделав это вы узнаете, где точно находится ваш TF2 (может находиться и на диске C и D). Так, как теперь это сделали. Заходите в папку которую создали (ToonHUD) открываете ToonHUD Updater. Он у вас начнеть устанавливаться, как установиться у вас появиться окно ToonHUD`а. В окне Setting вы должны ввести точное расположение TF.
Примеры:
C:Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom
D:SteamLibrary/SteamApps/common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom
Должно быть как-то так. После того, как введете точное расположение. Вы должны выбрать разрешение экрана, как выберите разрешение будет надпись Download. Как полоска установки полностью закончиться переходите в окошко Customize. Там можите выбрать все, что захотите и что будет душе угодно. Когда все, что вам нужно выбрали ниже будет кнопка Save overrides. Сохранитесь! Потом выше кнопка ToonHUD. Нажмите на нее и слева будет кнопка Start TF2. После всего этого у вас должен измениться TF2.

Я хотел бы начать с угла обзора и восприятия оружия от первого лица. Сейчас подробнее:
Настройка FOV и положения оружия в руках:
fov_desired 90 — увеличивает угол обзора в игре (вместо «90» можно поставить другое число, но только в небольшом разбросе, от 70 до 90)
tf_use_min_viewmodels 1 — включить уменьшенные модели (оружие будет смотреться уменьшенным в руках)
tf_use_min_viewmodels 0 — выключить уменьшенные модели (оружие будет сидеть в руках как обычно)
Команды для настройки рук:
toggle viewmodel_fov 90 — отдаляет оружие от экрана (вместо «90» можно поставить другое число, но только в небольшом разбросе. Если переборщить может начать ломаться игра)
cl_flipviewmodels 0/1 — смена оружия в руках слева на право, сменная 0/1 (будет удобно для левшей)
cl_first_person_uses_world_model 1 — включить реалистичное первое лицо (играя за персонажа можно увидеть свои ноги оружие не следует за прицелом)
cl_first_person_uses_world_model 0 — выключить реалистичное первое лицо (всё возвращается обратно, персонаж видит только своё оружие)
Команды для настройка худа внутри игры:
hud_combattext 0/1 — цифровое значение урона над головой у противника (вкл./выкл.)
hud_combattext_batching 0/1 — переключает наложение текста урона друг на друга в пределах 0.10 сек. интервала (вкл./выкл.)
hud_combattext_healing 0/1 — переключает текст лечения союзников (вкл./выкл.)
hud_combattext_doesnt_block_overhead_text 0/1 — Переключает накладывающиеся эффекты частиц, используемые для критов и мини-критов (вкл./выкл.)
hud_reloadscheme — используй это, чтобы исправить различные проблемы с окрашиванием интерфейса или зависшие эффекты критов.
hud_saytext_time 0 — интервал времени (в секундах), в течении которого отображаются комментарии чата до исчезновения.

Стандартный HUD в игре выглядит не очень, поэтому я его заменил. С новым худом игра выглядит свежее и красивее, я считаю, что он обязателен к установке.

Transparent viewmodels only works with DirectX 9. To enable transparent viewmodels, select the override in the updater. Then open TF2 and type «exec enable_transparency» to console. This changes some graphic settings that makes the transparent viewmodels work correctly. To change the settings back to defaults, type «exec disable_transparency».
For me the transparent viewmodels makes the game a bit blurry and it adds a weird blue layer to payload cart. But try it out if you are interested. 🙂
