Мессенджер Telegram больше недоступен для устройств на базе Wear OS

Популярный мессенджер Telegram больше не поддерживается на носимых устройствах, работающих под управлением Wear OS. С выходом Telegram 8.0 приложение было удалено из магазина Play Маркет для смарт-часов, из-за чего оно больше недоступно для загрузки.

Похоже, что разработчики одного из самых популярных мессенджеров в мире решили отказаться от поддержки клиента для Wear OS. Не исключено, что в будущем Telegram для Wear OS снова станет доступен для установки, но на данном этапе пользователи не смогут его использовать. Эту информацию подтвердили в службе поддержки сервиса обмена сообщениями.

«Начиная с версии Telegram 8.0, приложение для Wear OS больше не будет доступно для загрузки. Обратите внимание, если на вашем устройства с Wear OS ещё установлен Telegram, вскоре он может перестать работать», — говорится в сообщении Telegram.

Официальные представители Telegram пока воздерживаются от комментариев касательно причин прекращения поддержки версии мессенджера для Wear OS. Не исключено, что это связано с запуском Wear OS 3, под которую разработчики планируют выпустить новое приложение. Однако сейчас ни одни смарт-часы с Wear OS 2, ни новейшие Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, работающие под управлением Wear OS 3, не поддерживают установку приложения Telegram. ADDING TO CONTACTS MADE EASIER
• You can now add any users to your contacts, even if their phone numbers are not visible.
• Quickly add users standing next to you by opening Contacts > Add People Nearby. You will see people who have this section open.

LOCATION-BASED CHATS
• Host local communities by creating location-based group chats from the People Nearby section.

TRANSFER GROUP CHATS
• Transfer ownership of group chats and channels by granting full rights to another admin. Useful when switching jobs or if you just want to retire as creator.

ALSO IN THIS UPDATE
• Use Siri shortcuts to open chats with people.
• Choose app icon style and enjoy new theme previews in Appearance settings.
• Toggle message previews for specific chats, and use Search and ‘Delete All’ tools in Notification Exceptions.

— Connect a discussion group to your channel to get a ‘Discuss’ button.
— View any public channel from the web even if you don’t have a Telegram account.
