I used to use mods that I installed in mod_overrides folder, then I reinstalled the game and re-created the mod_overrides folder because it did not exist. But none of the mods I added to that folder are working. I re-installed the game again, but it did not help.

Anyone knows how I can fix this issue?

Well, some basic questions :

— Are you sure you named the folder «mod_overrides» exactly ?
— Is it in the assets folder of your payday 2 folder ?
— Are you using mods that might be outdated or simply don’t work as override but with BLT/BeardLib ?

And finally, are you sure you’re in the good Payday 2 folder ? Maybe you’re putting it in the one that was before you reinstalled the game, or maybe you’re putting the folder in the place of a backup if you have one ?

I am not sure if the mods are outdated. I can see my mods information in the game’s mods section, but they are not working. The mods are installed correctly, otherwise I won’t be able to see the mods information in the game.

I checked one of the mods and it says it was updated on 8/14/2018 — I am not sure if this is a good date or not. I checked another mod from the same author and it was updated in the year 2015. That’s very old. But I think the 2018 mod should be working.

Can you please list the names of the mods that are not working?

All the mods I installed are not working, not just one.

I just installed Beardlib and now the Coyote sight mod is working. But on link description of the mod it did not say that Beardlib is required.

I also just downloaded few mods that require Beardlib and they are all working fine.

Mhm. I just realized i was also using Beardlib(for something entirely different), i guess more complicated mods require Beardlib, or rather, Beardlib makes it easier to create/manage the custom content.

I lack the technical know-how to explain it in more detail. But i will leave the thread open if someone wants to chip in.

Payday 2 mod overrides не работает

Как устанавливать моды:

1. «C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2\assets\mod_overrides» — по данному пути устанавливаются визуальные моды, моды на текстуры, звук и т.п.;
2. «C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2\mods» — по данному пути устанавливаются все BLT моды, изменяющие скрипты, игровую механику, интерфейс и т.п. Для использования таких модов необходимо установить BLT Hook в директорию игры. Актуальная версия BLT прикреплена к сообщению.

Моды обоих типов должны находиться в вышеуказанных директориях в собственных отдельных папках, например:
1. «C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2\assets\mod_overrides\Hawks_soundpack»
2. «C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2\mods\CompactHUD».

P.S. После некоторых официальных обновлений игры модификации могут стать недоступны. В таком случае нужно лишь дождаться выпуска патчей, исправляющих эту проблему.

Как открыть папку с игрой (для Steam-версии):

В «Библиотеке Steam» нажмите на «PAYDAY 2» правой кнопкой мыши, в выпадающем списке выберите пункт «Свойства». В «Свойствах» выберите вкладку «Локальные файлы» и нажмите кнопку «Просмотреть локальные файлы».

Ниже пользователи могут обсуждать моды, их установку, совмещение и мн.др.

PayDay 2 обеспечивает довольно обширную поддержку моддинга, и пользователи используют менеджер модов BLT для установки модов в игре. Однако совсем недавно поступало много сообщений о том, что моды не работают. Некоторые пользователи могут войти в игру, и моды не реализованы, в то время как другие не могут запустить игру с активными модами.

Что мешает работать модам PayDay 2?

После получения многочисленных отчетов от пользователей мы исследовали проблему и разработали набор решений, которые решили проблему для большинства наших пользователей. Кроме того, мы рассмотрели причины, по которым возникла проблема, и они перечислены следующим образом.

• Неправильное размещение модов: Для игры доступно 2 типа модов. Во-первых, есть моды, которые содержат файлы «mods.txt», а во-вторых, есть моды, которые не содержат файлы «mods.txt». Файлы «mods.txt» используются менеджером модов BLT для изменения XML-файлов основной игры. Места для обоих типов модов разные.
• Отсутствует VC Redist 2017: Для правильной работы игры и диспетчера модов BLT требуется, чтобы распространяемый файл Microsoft Visual C ++ 2017 был установлен. Если программное обеспечение не установлено, Менеджер модов может столкнуться с проблемами при попытке внедрения модов.

Решение 2. Правильное размещение модов

Для игры доступно 2 типа модов. Во-первых, есть моды, которые содержат файлы «mods.txt», а во-вторых, есть моды, которые не содержат файлы «mods.txt». Места для обоих типов модов разные. Поэтому на этом этапе мы будем размещать моды в правильных каталогах.

1. проводить в папку с установкой игры.
2. открыто папка, в которую вы поместили все моды и индивидуально идентифицироватьмодовбез любой «mod.txtФайлы внутри своих папок.
   Идентификация «Модов» без файлов «mod.txt» из списка модов.
3. проводить вернуться в основной каталог и копия эти моды внутриАктивы> mod_overridesПапка.

4. После того, как моды закончили копирование в «mod_overridesПапка, удалять их измодовПапка.
5. Бежать игра и проверять чтобы увидеть, если проблема не устранена.

Решение 3: Замена ванильного BLT на Super BLT

По некоторым причинам определенные компьютеры, работающие под управлением операционной системы Windows 10, не могут загрузить файлы, используемые версией BLT Vanilla. Поэтому Super BLT использует другой файл «.dll» для решения этой проблемы. На этом этапе мы заменим менеджер модов Vanilla BLT на менеджер модов Super BLT. Для этого:

1. проводить в папку установки игры и удалитеIphlpapi.dll«.
2. Также, удалять «моды / база»Внутри директории установки игры.
3. Теперь загрузите СуперBLT мод-менеджер отсюда.
4. Извлеките файл «.zip» и скопируйте «wsock32.dll»Находится внутри папки извлечения.

5. Вставить файл в папке установки игры.
6. Бежать игра через «payday2_win32_release.exe”, И менеджер мод Super BLT предложит вам загрузить папку базовых модов.

There should be a file called «IPHLPAPI.dll» in your PAYDAY 2 folder, as well as a mods folder. Please make a screenshot of your mods folder as well.

Don’t use blt problem solved

Not knowing what scripts you are using and just going off the one you said (drag and drop) which can be run without using blt along with many other scripts that people seem to think need blt it might be worth looking in to yes?

Do you have to be a smartass? You knew that’s exactly what he meant guy.

Well nothing is showing ingame so im not sure which it is blt or the mods i do however know that several mods i have are for blt so its more likely blt that is not working and not that all mods are broken

Or it could be that i missplaced the folders but doesnt look like it.

Anyway i dont know what is wrong since i followed all instructions so hoping someone could tell me what could cause this or if There is an easy fix
