There are three modes for Drilling / Filling.
Status lights showing the current state of the block:
System is survival and dedicated server ready
Mod settings could be changed via settings file. See Discussion: Block Settings
Allows to:
Create a world settings file inside your current world folder.
Change the logging level.
For details type nanodrills inside in game chat
- Power usage (changeable via settings file)
20W Standby (collecting information about the voxels/items to drill/collect/fill)

Space engineers drill system не работает
I have a game that I am running and a friend recommended this mod. I see that it works and has all sorts of settings in the Youtube videos of it, but when I get the drill built, I don’t see any of those special settings.
I do have a lot of mods in my game. So, I started a test game with no mods except this one and still no settings.
What am I doing wrong?
Thanks in advance

But I don’t think that’s because of the mod. I also just installed it. And with me on the server everything is great. All settings are there and he drills so far without any problems.

- Spontaneously appearing voxels while drilling. Fixed 1.0.0.1 (2019.10.13)
- Unable to drill any ores from Better Stone. Tested and Working, seems to fixed with 1.0.0.0 (2019.10.06)
- Not clearable spikes inside drill area on clients. Fixed 1.0.05 (2019.10.20)
- Improvement in client server communication (less load). Done 1.0.05 (2019.10.20)
- Drill now also mining planetary surface boulders. Fixed 1.0.6 (2020-02-17)
- Side mount points now correct. Fixed 1.0.6 (2020-02-17)
not really a bug:
how do i get it to work on modded ores?
im using «deuterium fusion reactors» wich adds deuterium ice to the game. the drill system (in drill mode) will just create floatings and well, the deut. ice will not show up in the priority list.
dont know about other modded ores.
it diggs through it but only collects the stone and create the deut. ice as a floating object.
also the drill will show: deuterium in the «items to drill list» and deuterium ice in the «floatings to collect list»
besides that it works just great good work !
(i loaded the ore mod before the drill mod btw)
I was using it to drill the initial entrance to my base. It was going well, until it spawned a large mass of voxels around itself and completely blew up my respawn pod. The below screen shot shows what it looks like after I managed to dig the remains of the pod out.

Very strange never happend to me. Has this been a ‘floating’ object or a solid block connected to the voxel beeing drilled?
Do you happen to have the traces of the time?
Or can you somehow provoke that?
Same as Dr. Laurenz Geistert. I seem to be unable to drill any ores from Better Stone using this.

I had been tunneling through, all that area had been cleared of stone, and I could walk easily in the area. I extended the flooring and then I moved my the rover I had the drill attached to into the space after it had finished the first tunnel section. Suddenly that voxel mass appeared and from what I could tell it is fully attached to the ground that had been drilled. If you like I can give you the save from just after the rover finished detonating.
I’ve done some tests with landing gears, wheels, pistons, fixed connected grids, .. and all went ok.
So if you have the save game I would appreciate it. A long with some additional data:
Single or Multiplayer, construction of the rover (in case it no longer recognizable after the crash), pistons, motors, anything special. Setting of the drill (mode: drill/collect, enabled ores,).
Thanks
What info I could figure out is recorded in a readme.txt file. And I do have mods running so it is possible a conflict happened.
Edit: Steam kept removing the link just remove the extra spaces.

Settings could be stored either per PC:(..\SpaceEngineers\Storage\1879455650.sbm_NanobotDrillSystem\ModSettings.xml)
or per World:
..\\SpaceEngineers\Saves\XXXXXXX\MyWorld\Storage\NanobotDrillSystem_NanobotDrillSystem\ModSettings.xml.
Per world setting allways superseed, PC settings.
Setting file on single player game:
You can create settings file by typing either:
/nanodrills -cwsf (for a world settings file)
/nanodrills -cpsf (PC settings file)
into ingame chat (type /nanodrills for help)
Settings file on dedicated server:
On dedicated servers it is intentionaly not allowed to execute the commands to created the settings file. Otherwise any client would be able to influence the server configurationv (e,g. if the serve admin decides to have an server wide config file, and any client would be allowed to create an world config file, this would change the setting of the server. Even if the values will be the same, it would be nightmare for the admin to check all hosted worlds, after he made a change to the server wide config file.)
So that sayed, as server admin you could create a template file using a simple/empty world (with this mod) running on a single player version, change any setting he like and upload the file to the server as server wide setting or world specific setting.
