Its dumping it into the hydrogen tank, it;ll do the same for the hydrogen engine because its got a little tank inside of it.
I havent figured out how to have it not fill the tanks but I guess its just gona do that automaticly (I might experiment with a script on the programmable block though).

you need to replace/attach a hydrogen ENGINE to your rig, it’ll generate power but it chews through hydrogen to produce 5MW. That’ll charge it for ya.
I think you completely misunderstand the OP point, the O2/H2 generator is using up ice, but is not filling the Hydrogen tank connected to it. Putting a hydrogen engine will just eat the ice and use up the hydrogen which is certainly not going to be the intention.
And yes OP I noticed the same that I had a hydrogen tank connected to the H2/O2 generator and it uses up the ice at a slow rate to produce oxigen to fill up most likely the cockpit of the small ship connected to my base on the same conveyor system. As when I haven’t used that ship for a while it will stop consuming ice all together.
But it does not want to make hydrogen to fill up that hydrogen tank, as I want it to do so I have spare hydrogen to tank up my hydrogen powered ships in case I run out of ice. Or that don’t have to wait for it to make hydrogen to fill up my ships hydrogen tanks. Just dock the ship, the ship tanks should be topped of from the base hydrogen tank and then that base tank should be topped off by the H2/O2 generator when it has ice. Or at least that is the setup I want to go for.

That would mean it is not making power.
If there is an Oxygen Tank attached to it, it will prioritize filling the O2 tank before filling an H2 tank. Once the O2 tank is completely full, then the H2 tank will begin to fill.

Подаю идею, разжевывать не буду. Завязываешь на таймерблоки функцию генераторов водорода/кислорода «использовать конвеер». либо писать скрипт для програмного блока.
P.S. беги глупец. из этой игры. у меня 1500 часов наигранно. все еще учусь ))

Завязываешь на таймерблоки функцию генераторов водорода/кислорода «использовать конвеер» суть такая — чтобы генераторы н2/о2 закрывали приемку льда через определенные промежутки времени, давая наполниться остальным, которые так же закрываются-открываются.

Description
The Oxygen/Hydrogen Generator is the main source of both Oxygen and Hydrogen gas. The Generator is a keystone block for Engineers planning on long periods of survival in space, when the world option Oxygen Enabled is checked in the World Settings.
- Oxygen is used by engineers to survive outside planets with breathable atmospheres.
- Hydrogen is used by jetpacks to fly, by Hydrogen Engines to create power, and by Hydrogen Thrusters to propel ships.
The generator draws Ice through the connected Conveyor circuit in much the same way the powered Refinery pulls ore through the corresponding Conveyor circuit, and it outputs gases into the conveyor system.
You must gather the gas in conveyored Hydrogen Tanks and Oxygen Tanks.
- Set the tank to «Stockpile» in order to store gasses.
- Disable «Stockpile» to transfer gases out of tanks, for example, to allow hydrogen to be used by hydrogen thrusters.
The Large Ship version of the Oxygen Generator is 1x2x1 (Width x Height x Depth), with 3 large Conveyor doors. The Small Ship 3x3x2 (Width x Height x Depth), with 1 large Conveyor door and 2 small Conveyor doors.
How to fill your Oxygen and Hydrogen bottles
- Fill the Generator inventory with Ice or conveyor it to an inventory with Ice.
- Power the Generator for it to pull and melt the Ice.
- Tanks fill Hydrogen and Oxygen Bottles automatically if you enable «Auto Fill bottles» in the conveyored tanks.
Airtight rooms
If you have connected up an advanced Air Vent Oxygen Tank Conveyor Oxygen Generator system, the Generator will melt Ice until all airtight rooms are pressurized. This is essential to understand when making proper air locks. If a Hydrogen Tank is conveyored to the Generator, Ice will be melted until the Hydrogen Tank is full. Hydrogen Tanks require vast amounts of Ice to fill completely, and filling them will use up Ice even after all Oxygen Tanks have already been filled.

Как я понимаю энергия в костюме нужна? Подзаправься в survival kit’е, он в каждой стартотой капсуле есть.

Как я понимаю энергия в костюме нужна? Подзаправься в survival kit’е, он в каждой стартотой капсуле есть. Не в костюме, я просто не так отписался, хочу сделать солнечную панель, для неё построил сборщик, а сам сборщик тоже требует электричество, но где его взять я не понимаю. Атмосферы на планете нету, ветряк не работает. Опять же, у тебя в стартовом ровере, если ты конечно на каком либо спутнике, есть survival kit. Он совмещает в себе сборщик, очистительный завод, контейнер и медпункт. Естественно в самом базовом виде. Как очистительный завод он может переплавлять только камень в базовые слитки. Как медпункт может регенерировать запас здоровья, заправлять тебя кислородом/водородом. Как сборщик делать все базовые компоненты, в том числе и солнечные ячейки, которые необходимы для солнечных панелей. Базовый сборщик, который нужен был тебе для постройки солнечных панелей, и который ты не смог запитать электричеством, оказался вовсе и не нужен для этих же солнечных панелей. Он тебе понадобится для постройки батарей, тяжелой брони, грузовых контейнеров и т.д, так как в их функционал стала входить постройка энергоячеек и металлических решеток.
