Wreckfest не работает мультиплеер
So I havent touched this game for years and decided to give it a go again.
Now, first I tried setting up a server only to find out you need to open ports — sure that makes sense.
But I literally cannot ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ join a server, no matter how long I wait or how many times I refresh the server list I always get the message «Could not join server» and I have googled everywhere to no avail.
It’s not a firewall issue
It’s not a anti-virus issue
Any other game I own has absolutely zero problems.
Sorry that I cannot help anymore. Those are all the solutions I know of. This seems like a new issue to me.
Only left field thing I can think of is nvidia shadowplay. Turn that overlay off to see if it works.
Steam has been restarted several time and I dont see any message of the game verifying any files.
The servers I tried to join did not have a red x, as those wont even allow me to try and join them.
So sound like you see stock servers to join ( no red X ). Have you tried joining a server with no players? If server full or full of bots and players are in a race, you will get «Could not join server». Until they back to the lobby.
If try joining a 0/24 server you should get in if it not red X.
This has stumped us for a while. Your other multiplayer games are working fine. I passed this on to a dev and they haven’t found a solution for your specific issue yet.

Wreckfest не работает мультиплеер
Купил игру, но она не запускается от силу совсем. Грешил на железо, (хотя она должна потянуть) даже выбрал самые слабые настройки, чтобы наверняка. Также переустанавливал игру. Все по сценарию, выходит заставка, потом появляется экран загрузки и через пол секунды игра вылетает. Как бороться с этой проблемой, или подавать мне на возврат товара?
I was bought the game, but she don’t work. Sinned for iron, (although she must be running) even chose the weakest settings, so for sure. Also I was re-installed the game. Everything is according to the scenario, the screen saver comes out, then the loading screen appears and after half a second the game crashes. How to fix this problem?
You seeing any error message that would give us a clue what might be wrong?

So try this, go disable the WF Steam cloud:

Yes, it is. Actually, I have a regular computer too, and those games, which was started in regular computer, should running in laptop
So if this laptop, is there a dedicated video card installed or does laptop only have onbroad graphic chip? An onbroad graphic chip is not going handled running Wreckfest.
If there is a dedicated video card, Wreckfest may not see it and pick the onbroad graphic chip instead.
Need to make a game profile:
The m970 should handle Wreckfest with medium to high graphic settings and maybe MSAA 2x. Maybe get 40-60 FPS. depending on the track.
But you may have do this trick to get Wreckfest to see your laptop’s m970:
MY PRIMARY DISPLAY ADAPTER IS NOT DETECTED BY THE GAME!
Most likely you need to create a profile for the game in the display adapter settings and make sure the profile is set to use the primary display adapter. If you’re using NVIDIA Optimus, create a new profile in the NVIDIA Control Panel under 3D Settings/Manage 3D Settings for the game, and make sure that ‘High-Performance NVIDIA processor’ is selected as the preferred graphics processor in Program Settings. For AMD users, the process is pretty much the same. Furthermore, if your laptop has an on-board switch for selecting between Stamina and Speed modes, make sure that Speed is selected; the primary display adapter is available only in the Speed mode.
Can go to Wreckfest launch options and type in: -setup
This bring up WF setup window when you go to start Wreckfest. Can see what GPU Wreckfest is using.

Первое: Штука из Workshop под названием Wreckfest Server Manager
Второе: Вот эти порты: 27015, 33540, 27016.
Третье: Включить мозьг.
Идем в workshop и подписываемся на прогу Wreckfest Server Manager
Далее идем в папку где у вас расположен Стим в раздел workshop
У меня этот путь выглядит так
Заходим в папку Content и ищем папку с номером 228380. Далее заходим в папку
712825572 и далее в папку tools. Там мы найдем архив WSM.zip
Извлекаем его в эту папку или куда вам нужно
Предвидя вопросы, нет вам не надо ставить Wreckfest Dedicated Server, забудьте про него как страшный сон.
Я надеюсь вы предварительно научились подключаться к своему роутеру и менять в нем настройки?
Открываем браузер и в сроке адреса вводим 192.168.0.1
(ну или что вам нужно, что бы попасть в настройки своего роутера)
Логинимся. Если вы не меняли настроек то обычно логин и пароль это admin. В инструкциях к вашему роутеру это написано.
Далее в настройках роутера ищем раздел: Переадресация подраздел Виртуальные серверы
В английском варианте и на вашем роутере это может быть:
«Port Forwarding», «Applications», «Gaming», «Virtual Servers», «Firewall», «Protected Setup».
У меня это выглядит вот так
Вот те самые три порта, которые нам надо прописать в настройках:
27015, 33540, 27016
Жмем: Добавить и прописываем порт и ip адрес вашего компьютера. Нужно так же в настройках роутера закрепить IP к которому вы привязали порты совпадал с IP вашего компьютера, что бы при перезагрузке роутера ваш компьютер не получил другой IP адрес, тогда сервер не будет работать.
В моем варианте это выглядит так:
ip вашего компьютера можно узнать в свойствах сети:
Жмем сохранить. В итоге повторяем эту операцию для двух других портов. У меня все выглядит теперь вот таким вот образом:
На этом с открытием портов все. Правда все.
Помните куда вы извлекли Wreckfest Server Manager?
Пользователи 10-ки могут сделать следующий трюк: Нажмите правой кнопкой мыши не эгзешнике и выберите «Закрепить на начальном экране»
Что бы каждый раз не лезть в эти ♥♥♥♥. кхм. дали. Теперь прога доступна из меню «Пуск»
Запускаем прогу. Выглядит она так:
Жмем на плюсик рядом с Options, теперь прога выглядит так:
Прописываем имя сервера (Server Name), ставим или не ставим пароль (Password)
Прописываем количество ботов или не прописываем:
Сохраняем и нажимаем Start Server. Ждем когда появится командная строка:
А в ней не стартанет сервер с ботами (Ну или без ботов, если вы их не прописывали)
Теперь запускаем игру, идем в мультиплеер, в первый раз загрузка может идти минуты 2.
На всякий случай проверяем, виден ли ваш сервак в разделе «Локально»
Если видно, то ищем свой сервер уже в разделе «Интернет»
Заходим на него. Поздравляю, вы организатор своего сервака во Wreckfest
Все настройки режимов гонки вы можете поменять в соответствующем меню «Настройки сервера».
Все, пусть ваши товарищи ищут вашу игру в списке «Друзья» или «Интернет», если они вам не друзья в Стиме и присоединяются.
Дело касается модов. В английском руководстве там говорится об этом. И чтобы люди не мучались как я xD
Стоит отметить, что если человек создаёт сервер с включёнными модами. То при первом запуске сервера, после нажатии «Start Server», выскочит консоль, которую надо будет закрыть с помощью команды «exit», после чего повторно запустить сервер. Иначе сервер моды не подхватит и подключающимся будет писать якобы несоответствие файлов несмотря на то что нужные моды будут включены)
И такую операцию надо проводить каждый раз, когда человек создаёт сервер с модами\добавляет, убирает моды\возвращает ванильный сервер игры.

I see it says «Multiplayer» and «Online Multiplayer».
Can I hook up a couple PS4 controllers through my PC and place with friends via splitscreen? (I have a PS4 controller app if the game doesn’t recognize the controller by itself)
I honestly don’t know why games do not do split screen. This game seems awesome, but the fact I can’t play with a few buddies in the same room is what is holding me back from buying. even full price.
I agree. My friends and I used to play destruction derby RAW, and other such games ALL the time back in the day. Absolutely loved them.
If the price goes down (not that it needs to right now, I want the Devs to get their money!) I will probably pick this up eventually. If it did have local multiplayer (even just another 1 person) I wouldn’t hesitate to buy it. Unfortunately my friends don’t game on the PC. If this was on PS4 then heck yeah we all would buy it 🙂
Heres hoping for the future!
Otherwise the game does look pretty awesome.
